Humber Motor Cars 1931 to 1976

Came into effect on 1 Jan 1978 and requires all advertising by people who sell goods in the course of a business to make the fact clear. From that date consumers should be able to tell whether an advertisement relates to a sale by a trader or private seller. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to comply with the order.

It is an offence, for which you may be prosecuted, not to advertise the fact that you are a trader.

Any later adverts than June 2015 can be placed directly on the 'Humber Owners Club' Face book page. If you do not have or want a Face book Account please email and I will place the advert for you.

Email adverts should be no more than 50 words long, any photographs to accompany the advert should be attached to the email. Advertising is FREE. Adverts will be displayed for at least six months unless otherwise notified.

Warning!  This is a high visibility site. As well as being seen by lots of buyers it will also be seen by lots of scammers and spammers. - please protect your normal email address by whatever means is best for you.

15/03/2015 1962 Humber Super Snipe. The last Mot was carried out on 14 January 2013 when the mileage was 43,707 with just an advisory of minor leak of exhaust gases. In February 2013 spent £750 on having the brakes completely overhauled and new bits replaced where necessary.
Looking through the paperwork, we believe the car was a 1961 model and was probably exported to the USA as in 1991 in a letter from the DVLA, they agreed to let it have it's original registration number back. The V5C form shows it was first registered in the U.K. 12/06/1986.
We have not used the car for about 18 months to 2 years, as my husband became ill. We had a rep from Charterhouse auctions view it recently. I believe it would need to have a bit of work done on the bottom of the doors and possibly some chromework, but basically it is a solid car which I will be sad to part with. Offers. (Exeter, Devon)
